Dear Parents and Students:

The CCL PTO is a dynamic organization of dedicated parents and teacherformed to (1) promote the education and well-being of our gifted students; (2) raise fundfor school programs, activities, and equipment; (3) provide assistance to the staff, and (4) fostecommunication and cooperation within our Rockwood community.

We raised more than $20,000 last year! With the money we raised we were able to provide an additional 3-D printer, fund a new marquee for the CCL building, fund an Eagle Scout project, obtain specialized seating for the kindergarten classrooms and make sizeable donations to the CCL to be used as needed.  The money raised through the PTO helps CCL provide students with the most up-to-date technology, supplies, and programs to keep our students flourishing.

Our main method of fundraising comes in the form of voluntary donations. We also gifany profit we make from the sales of supply packets, fall and spring book fairs, and the Art to Remember project directly to the CCLWe could not have the success that we do without the dedication and generosity of our families! We thank you and look forward to your continued support in the coming year.

We also suppornumerous CCevents throughout the year: Experience CCL Weeks (ExCCL) in November & April, fifth-grade end of year celebrations, staff meals during parent-teacher conferences, and bringing in speakers for our Gifted Parents Support Network group.

Additionally, we present multiple awards. The Gifted Education Award is given to members of the CCL community who have consistently gone above and beyond for the betterment of our children. The Jay Walsh scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors in the Rockwood school district who are committed to making a difference through the use of foreign language.

Without the dedication of countless individuals in so many capacities, the CCL would not be the organization that it is todayPlease consider helping the CCL PTO this year by volunteering at the Book Fair, supporting Art to Remember, offering to help with gardening at our entrance, or working at the 5th-grade celebration!

We are looking forwartanother exciting year as the CCL PTO, parents, and faculty work together to make a difference in the lives of our children!
