Here you will find all of the information you need to register your student for the Regiment new school year, either as a musician or color guard.  If your family is new to the marching band there is a lot to learn, but there are experienced people to help you so make sure you ask questions if you are not sure.  It is important that you returns forms and information on time to ensure the smooth operation of the band.

​Below are the key dates and information related to registration.  You can download these forms from this page, or from the Documents and Forms page.  (Not all links are active yet, more forms will be added in coming weeks.)  All of these forms will also be provided to you at the Fall Parent meeting.  This page is intended to help you with registration only.  Be sure to consult the Band Calendar​ or download a copy of the Lancer Regiment Schedule to find dates of all practice sessions, competitions and other events throughout the season.

Note that all payments should be cash or check (payable to 'LHS Band Boosters'), and must be enclosed in a Deposit Envelope.  Be sure to pick up a supply of these at the Fall Parent Meeting or from Mr Balog's office during school hours.

By this date please return your Lancer Regiment Co​mmitment Form along with your non-refundable deposit of $200 for Band Camp.​  Also:

No experience necessary!  Come and try it out.

May 13th, 9am-3pm

This year most information will be collected online:

​Please consider volunteering for vacant Band Booster positions at this meeting.  We need everyone's help!

*U​nder uniform and spirit wear will be ordered online directly with the supplier.  Samples will be available on this evening for sizing purposes.​  Under uniform is not required for Color Guard.

​June 14th​Under Uniform Orders Due!


​​​Band Boosters is providing one undershirt for free to every current band member including color guard.

All band members apart from color guard need at least one shirt, one pair of shorts, and one pair of socks.  It is highly recommended that you have two of each.

Pool Party Meet and Greet​Casual party to help everyone get to know each other as we kick off the season.  Save the date information here​.
July 17th​
REQUIRED Parent Camp Meeting
LHS Theater.  Important information about camp.​  Spirit wear sample sizes will be available to try.
At this meeting you will also need to complete and return:

July 23rd-28th​Band Camp, Truman State UniversityBe sure to download the Band Camp Guide ​​for all the information you need about the schedule, what to pack, and what to bring.​
August 1st​Gloves and Shoes Order and Payment Due​
Prices - gloves $3, shoes $33. Ordering will be done at the same time as uniform fitting prior to this date.​
All students (except percussion) will be required to have new gloves in the 2017-18 season.  Students are encouraged to buy two pair of gloves. 
Returning students can re-use shoes from previous seasons.  New students will be measured for shoes during the first week of rehearsals (July 17-20).

​August 5th​Spirit Store C​​losesBe sure to get your spirit wear orders in at our Spirit Store.  ​
August 9th
​Family Night at LHS
​Dinner and first preview of the show to family members.
You will be able to purchase lanyards at this event.  Lanyards include the official photo of your band member and a handy schedule of dates.  These are optional, but highly recommended to wear when volunteering or attending competitions.
