​​​​​​​​​​​​Welcome to Marquette High School!  We're glad that you're here!  Marquette has a very  diverse student body - we come from all over the United States and the world.  You will immediately feel this is your school.  The staff at Marquette wants all of its students to have a successful educational experience and everyone will work to help you achieve this.

Registration
Registrationat Marquette is easy.  First, call Marquette (636) 891-6000 and ask for the Guidance Office.  A secretary will make an registration appointment for you.  When you come for your appointment, bring the following items, if possible:
  • Official birth certificate or passport
  • Immunization record
  • Student's social security number or resident alien (green) card
  • Last report/grade card or official transcript from your last school.  Credit may be given toward a Marquette diploma.
  • Student's  physical form completed by your doctor.  Marquette has this form.
  • Proof of residency (A copy of your building contract, rental contract or unpaid utility bill)
  • Parent/guardian identification
  • Proof of custody if the student does not live with the biological parents.  Before you come to Marquette, you must first call the office of the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services for more information.  (636) 938-2200
Classes
Classesat Marquette will prepare you for college and more.  You will have required classes that you must take to graduate.  Some of these classes are history English, math and science.  You will have some elective classes which you get to select yourself.  Take this opportunity to learn many new things from subject areas like cooking, computers, photography, drama, or exercise.  Look at the Guidance page to find out more about classes and graduation.
 
ESOL
ESOL class is just for you.  We want to help you have a successful academic experience at Marquette.  ESOL class is at least one period a day with individualized instruction during your study hall.  You may also attend ESOL during  your regular class for individualized instruction to help with a test, review, or project.  Academic English is emphasized.  We also work on cultural literacy.  Class size ranges from 6 to 10 students.  You will make new friends here.  We will help you get acquainted with the Marquette "family."
 
Clubs
Clubs and Activitiesare a very important part of all American high schools.  You may want to participate in sports, drama, marching band, and clubs such as The Multicultural Society, Art Club, etc.  Look at the Marquette page describing activities and clubs.  Marquette sponsors an annual multicultural festival and we would like for you to help us with it.  We hope that you join us in making Marquette a place for total student involvement.
