Kellison Elementary was built in 1973. Over the years, the school started to experience some water infiltration in its classrooms.
Thanks to the April 2015 bond issue, Rockwood constructions crews have been working to fix the problem.
According to Chris Freund, Rockwood director of facilities, construction crews have ripped out exterior walls to rebuild a structure around the school that is water-tight and energy efficient.
