During the April 11 meeting, Rockwood Superintendent Dr. Eric Knost administered the oath of office to Rockwood Board of Education members Loralee Mondl and Tom Dunn. Rockwood voters approved Mondl and Dunn during the April 2 election.
In addition, the School Board elected Loralee Mondl as school board president and Lynne Midyett as school board vice president.
About the Rockwood School Board
Rockwood Board members are public servants who are elected by local constituents. They do not receive compensation for their efforts. Key roles and responsibilities of the Board are to:
- Hire and evaluate the superintendent and delegate all administrative responsibilities.
- Approve the school district's budget.
- Adopt and evaluate policies.
