Curbside Pickup Information

  • At Blevins, we are dedicated to getting books into kids’ hands, so we have come up with the following procedures to ensure all of our kids have great books to read! In fact, students can check out 5 books at a time right now! Books are due two weeks after you are notified they are ready for pick-up.

    1. Shop for Books

Log into Destiny (using the same credentials used to log in to district devices). You can get to Destiny through Canvas and Clever. Use the search features to find the books you are interested in reading. (You can also find out what books you have checked out by clicking on My Info once you are logged in.)

    1. Put Books on Hold

When you find a book you want, place it on hold. (Click the link for a “How to Place a Book on Hold” video tutorial. It is the same process for all Rockwood students.) You can also fill out one of the paper request forms or this online form We will place a paper request form with each of your curbside orders. Please remember, there is a 72-hour quarantine on all books, so it may take a bit to get your book ready or someone else may have put the book on hold before you. We are doing our very best to get you the books you want as quickly as possible.
You will be notified through Canvas, email, or a phone call once your book(s) are available for pick-up at Blevins.

    1. Pick-Up and Drop-Off

When you arrive at Blevins, walk up to the main doors and ask to be buzzed in to pick up library books. Your child’s books will be on a cart in the space between the two sets of doors.

    Safety Guidelines
Masks and social distancing are required when entering Blevins.
    Dates and Times
Library Curbside Service will be available daily from 8:00-4:00.
If this time frame does not work for you, please contact Mrs. Lueken to make other arrangements.

    • I would like a Pebble Plus book.
    • I would like true books about dogs.
    • I would like a funny chapter book.
    • I would like a book by Stuart Gibbs, but not Spy School because I already read that.

How Do I Contact Mrs. Lueken?
