PSAT Information 2022-2023

  • The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is the official route of entry to the National Merit Scholarship Program. The PSAT is not a college admittance exam.

    Lafayette will offer the opportunity for junior and sophomore students to take the PSAT during the school day on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022.

    • Juniors: This is your only opportunity to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Programs.

    • Sophomores: Test your skills and practice prior to your junior year.

    Exam Day Information

    • Exam Date: October 12, 2022

    • Exam Time: 8:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

    • Exam Location: LHS Back Gym

    How to Access Score Reports

    • Scores are available online through a student's College Board account, usually in December.

    • Nothing is mailed home by College Board or LHS

    • Students who qualify for National Merit Semi-Finalist or other awards will be notified in fall of 12th grade, usually in September
