    * FRIDAY ROUND-UP OF USEFUL LINKS AND HELPFUL REMINDERS *

Core Building Hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Scheduled staff supervision of students begins at 7:00 a.m.  Thus, for student safety and supervision, doors open to walkers and parent drop-offs at 7:00 a.m.  Bus riders are released from buses to come into the building at 7:15 a.m.

Sign-ups OPEN for After School Activities on Fridays at 7:15 a.m.  and CLOSE on Mondays at 4:00 p.m. - You must sign up each week to attend After School Activities that week.  The sign-ups do not carry over from week to week.  The link is on your Counselor’s Canvas page.

On conference nights or on the day before a break, there are no After School Activities.

After School Activities Permission Slip Form - A permission slip form must be completed and signed by a parent and turned into the Front Office before participation in activities.  Only one is needed for the year for all After School Activities.

Have you lost a small item at school?  If so, please be sure to ask in the Front Office about it. Larger items may be found in the Lost & Found cabinet located in the Cafeteria.

SIGN-IN/SIGN-OUT:  If a student leaves RSMS before dismissal, parent/guardian comes to the Front Office to sign-out the student when student leaves the building.   If a student arrives at RSMS after the school day begins, the student comes to the Front Office to sign-in.

Students, please exchange your loaner chromebook for your own repaired chromebook as soon as possible after notification.  Loaner chromebooks need to be available for all students who have need of a loaner.

Did you forget your chromebook at home?  Please come to the office to call home to have it dropped off at school for you, if possible.  A loaner chromebook from the Tech Office may be available for your use, but there is a limited supply, so it is best to remember to bring your own to school.  The same is true of chargers, a loaner from the Tech Office may be available, but it is best to bring your own from home.

Masks - Please remember that all students and staff are required to wear a mask over the nose and mouth while in the building, including when walking down the hall to leave for the day.

Cell phones:  Per our Student Handbook, student cell phones may not be used or be visible on school premises during regular school hours.  Cell phone use is not allowed in the lunchroom.  Our expectation for students is that their phones shall be kept off and out of sight throughout the entire school day. Students who need to contact home may use the office phone to do so.

Daily Walker/Bike Rider - A daily walker is defined as a student who will walk home EVERYDAY, regardless of weather, AND who has a completed and parent-signed  Daily Walker/Bike Rider form filed in the RSMS office.   Students wishing to walk occasionally must bring a note to the office on the day he/she will be walking.

Parent Pick-Up - Students choosing to be a daily parent pick-up must bring a parent note to the front office so indicating.  This is typically at the beginning of the school year.   Students wishing to ride home occasionally must bring a parent note to the front office on the day of parent pick-up.

Need a chromebook repair?  Submit a Tech Help Ticket.
