Purpose

Rockwood is ready to embark on a new journey as we prepare for a new Strategic Plan: 2020-2025. In the coming months, we’ll bring together members of the Rockwood School District community to help set the future direction of our schools. 

Process

We'll utilize a framework that provides a steering committee to assist five subcommittees to address the following:

• Student Learning
• Extraordinary People
• Customized Supports
• School Climate
• Leadership

The Way Forward represents our commitment to every child, every family and every employee of the Rockwood School District. Along the way, we’ll ask questions, listen, evaluate, and take an even closer look at what we can do better. We’ll address our state’s mandate for a comprehensive school improvement plan – and take it further as we develop a visionary roadmap that will include the aspirations, goals and priorities shared by our community.
