Purpose

The Rockwood Learning Council brings together teachers, administrators, and parent representatives to share and discuss ideas around student learning, curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning. 

Process

Each elementary building is represented by one primary teacher, one intermediate teacher and one administrator. Additional members include elementary counselors, Center for Creative Learning teachers, PE, Fine Arts, ESOL, and Reading Intervention teachers, librarians, Early Childhood, SPED, school psychologists, RNEA, a parent representative, curriculum facilitators/coordinators, elementary education, Research Evaluation and Assessment (REA), technology, student services, professional learning, Special ED, and SSD.
