The Giving Place
The Giving Place
Rockwood Gives Back (RGB) is expanding efforts – once again – to help our students who need it the most. The RGB Giving Place is a donation center established to provide items for our own Rockwood students in need.
How does it work?
Rockwood social workers, counselors and staff inform RGB when needs arise with our Rockwood students. RGB shares the requests with our school community who provide donations of these gently used items. It’s all about working together to help students overcome challenges so they can learn, grow and graduate.
How can you help?

Determine how you can contribute by donating or making a financial commitment.
Receive a tax receipt for your donation from Rockwood Gives Back.
Remember: Your donation is tax-deductible. As a governmental entity, the Rockwood School District falls under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Where do I drop-off my donation?
The donation center is located at the Rockwood Early Childhood Center in Eureka at 442 West Fourth Street. You may drop-off items at the Early Childhood Center office or at our RGB bin in front of Fairway Elementary School. You can also contact our volunteers at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out other locations and opportunities.
What items are needed?
Rockwood Gives Back accepts food, personal care, and all gently used clothing, furniture and household items. Take a look at The Giving Place donation request lists to the right for more information. With your help, we have been able to continue providing for the needs of our students and families in a safe way. At this time we are also accepting donations from our Amazon Wish List.
