College and Career Summer Resources
College Counselors will begin taking appointments the 2nd week of school this Fall!
Stop by the Guidance Office on the 2nd floor to schedule yours - be sure to let us know if your parent/guardian(s) want to attend, as we cannot fully accommodate a parent/guardian showing up to school or requesting to join your appointment at the last minute.
Take a look at the Junior Meeting Checklist to prepare. Write down your questions ahead of time, and bring them with you to the appointment.
College and Career Presentation Info
In the Spring, all Juniors were presented with information from the College and Career Center. Below are the slides from that presentation as well as the packet of documents that were sent home with each student. If you (or your student) were absent and did not receive a packet, students can stop by the Guidance Office to pick one up. You are also welcome to download the pdf here and save it for future reference.
Students will continually receive an invitation in their Rockwood email (please check the spam/junk folder) until they have logged into SCOIR. Log in using your Rockwood email address and password and get started exploring all the program has to offer!

The Planning Timeline below will help you get a sense of the things you should be doing to prepare for college. Keep in mind, that not everything is applicable to every student and the lists do not necessarily include every single step. This is a starting point for you, a way to start thinking about what is to come and how to prepare.
