Rockwood Awards and Recognition

    • The school district earned the Accredited with Distinction designation, the highest level of accreditation possible from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, in DESE's latest accreditation cycle. 
    • The Rockwood School District earned a 98.2 percent overall score on the Annual Performance Report (APR) released by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in its latest cycle.
    • Rockwood is recognized with a AAA rating by Standard and Poor's School Evaluation Services. 
    • For the 23rd straight year, Rockwood received the Meritorious Budget Award for excellence in the preparation and issuance of a school system annual budget.
    • Rockwood Transportation earned the Exemplary School Bus Maintenance Award from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) for 2021.
    • The Rockwood School District has received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association.
    • Character.org has designated Rockwood as one of only four districts as a 2016 National School District of Character.
