Amy Wassman

I am a lifelong resident and proud alumna of the Rockwood School District, having attended Rockwood Early Childhood, Eureka Elementary, La Salle Springs Middle School, and Eureka High School. Those schools shaped my commitment to public education and my desire to give back to the community that raised me. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, master’s degrees in Special Education and Administration, and a Doctorate in School Leadership. I spent nearly a decade as a teacher and have served as a Special Education Coordinator with the Special School District for six years.

I was fortunate to purchase the home I grew up in and raise my children in the same schools that shaped me. My children currently attend Eureka Elementary, strengthening my investment in Rockwood’s future.

I am committed to maintaining educational excellence while ensuring student access to meaningful learning opportunities. My career has focused on advocating for our most vulnerable learners, and I will bring that same dedication to serving every student.
If elected, I pledge to work collaboratively with Rockwood teachers, staff, and stakeholders to support our district, foster learning for every child, and serve as a steward of our community’s investment. Thank you for your support.
