Meet the 2025 Board of Education Candidates

Three Rockwood citizens filed their candidacy for two positions on the Rockwood Board of Education. The positions are for three-year terms, and Election Day is April 8, 2025. 

On March 11, 2025, candidate Izzy Imig withdrew her candidacy.

As part of their filing process, the candidates were asked to provide their own biographical information so that voters in the district may learn more about them. The candidates have a 200-word limit for the information they provide and the content is posted as it is received. 

The League of Women Voters of Metro St. Louis held a "Meet the Candidates" event on March 5 at the Rockwood School District Administrative Annex. The forum is an opportunity for patrons to ask questions of the three candidates running for two open seats on the Rockwood Board of Education. District patrons had the opportunity to submit questions online ahead of time and those who attended also had the opportunity to submit questions to the moderator. The League of Women Voters is solely responsible for choosing questions from those submitted and the Rockwood School District does not have access to the questions. The Rockwood School District only provides the space as a service to patrons to learn more about the candidates. The forum recording is posted below and on the Rockwood YouTube channel.
