Dr. Amy Wassman

Dr. Amy Wassman was sworn in as a member of the Rockwood Board of Education in April 2026. She is a lifelong resident and proud alumna of the Rockwood School District, having attended Rockwood Early Childhood, Eureka Elementary, La Salle Springs Middle and Eureka High. Dr. Wassman earned her bachelor's in psychology, her master's in special education and administration and her doctorate in school leadership. She spent nearly a decade as a teacher and has served as a special education coordinator with the Special School District of St. Louis since 2020. She currently has two children attending Rockwood schools.
