Behavior Analysis
Behavior Analysis is a scientific approach to understanding and studying behavior. The term Applied Behavior Analysis or ABA focuses on how behaviors change, or are affected by the environment, as well as how learning takes place. Behavior Analysts (individuals who work in the field of Behavior Analysis) strive to understand how behavior changes in real life situations.
Our goal is to increase behaviors that have a meaningful impact on someone’s life and decrease behaviors that are harmful to someone’s life. Behavior Analysis allows us to take science and apply it to any field in which we work. To learn more about the field in general, please take time to watch the video labeled "Behavior Analysis: An Overview". To learn more about how we work in education, please watch the video labeled "Behavior Analysis in Public Schools".
