Peachjar
Rockwood supports community groups and organizations by distributing information to parents about educational activities and events that may benefit students.
Rockwood does not distribute flyers from community organizations directly to students. Instead, we send community flyers directly to parents electronically. The district partners with Peachjar to provide this service. Peachjar provides an innovative flyer management system that sends district-approved electronic flyers directly to parents' email and posts them online.
The benefits of electronic flyer delivery for community partners include:
- Convenient, electronic access to parents
- Easy, one-click sign up links for activities
- Time savings from distributing electronic flyers at the school level
Parents may unsubscribe if they do not want to receive Peachjar flyers via email. All flyers will still be available to view on school websites.
Community organizations may distribute flyers to families. Please see the Peachjar website for current pricing and potential volume discounts. All flyers are subject to approval and must be related to educational activities and events that may benefit students. Community organizations and establishments may also submit employee-targeted offers for free to Rockwood staff members, which are also subject to approval and posted on the district's secure intranet site.
Parent-Teacher Organizations and official booster clubs at a Rockwood school may request a Peachjar account to send flyers free of charge.
