Rockwood Early Childhood Program Half Day offers 2, 3, 4 and 5 day options and Full Day offers 2, 3 and 5 day options in a safe, caring school environment that benefits our Rockwood students.
It's time to consider preschool enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year. Please remember to prepare the documents you'll need (as noted below).
Online Enrollment
Early Childhood preschool parents can enroll their new preschool student using a secured, online application. The online application will open on Tuesday, Jan. 19, for families to start the 2021-2022 registration process:
- Select the "New Families" option if you are new to the school district.
- Select the "New Student" option if you already have at least one child enrolled in the district and you have a Campus Portal Account.
Note: It is important for families to complete the entire online registration process including the Registration Fee to ensure their child is enrolled for the upcoming school year.
Half Day Enrollment Options
Rockwood Half-Day Preschool provides a comprehensive three hour program that develops an increased understanding of the world by involving children in a variety of rich academic and social experiences, all within a warm welcoming environment. Learn more about the half day program.
Full Day Enrollment Options
Rockwood Full Day Preschool provides working families the convenience of a comprehensive preschool program where children are engaged in rich academic and social experiences in a warm welcoming environment along with childcare. This program’s hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to accommodate the schedules of working families. Full-Day Preschool features multi-age groupings for 2, 3 or 5 days per week. Important Documents to Prepare
Please prepare these documents for kindergarten registration (both online and in-person).
- Birth certificate issued by Bureau of Vital Statistics
- Medically documented immunization/health records
A physical is required by the start of school.
Download the health record form, and submit to your physician for completion.
Please review immunization requirements for Missouri. - Two proofs of parent/guardian's residency
Each family must submit one document from List A and List B. These documents should contain parent/guardian's name and address. Read more about proof of residency.
List A: Deed/sales contract of residence, mortgage statement or signed contract to lease/rent
List B: Current utility bill, real estate tax receipt, personal property tax receipt or occupancy permit listing
Things to Know!
Please remember that the Early Childhood Department requires children to be three years old before Aug. 1, 2021, to be eligible to begin preschool in the fall.
