Early Childhood - Vandover
The following projects have been identified as priority projects on the horizon for this building.
Prop 3 is on the Nov. 7 ballot asking voters for permission to reallocate tax dollars from Debt Service to Capital Projects without increasing the overall tax rate.
The building that houses Vandover Early Childhood was built in 1950.
SAFETY PRIORITIES | TECHNOLOGY PRIORITIES | FACILITY PRIORITIES |
---|---|---|
Update 2-way radios | Update cybersecurity measures | Replace HVAC system |
Door access control and monitoring system | Update technology infrastructure | Add ADA lift system for gym accessibility |
Update and add security cameras | Staff device refresh | Replace entire roof system |
Update intruder alarm system | Classroom projection refresh |
If approved, these projects will then be prioritized across the district each year based on available funds. When fully phased in, Prop 3 would result in approximately $26-27 million annually.
It is important to note that not all priority projects at every school can be funded in the first few years if Prop 3 passes, but we want all patrons to be fully informed as to which projects have been identified as priorities at each school.
See the Frequently Asked Questions under What is Prop 3? for more information as to how projects are prioritized.
