    We are here to help as you prepare for life after high school graduation. Whether you aspire to attend college, join the military, or enter the workforce, we have tools to assist you in getting there!     Attention: Class of 2023

    We know you are excited to begin applying to college and some colleges may open their applications over the summer. 

    Please note, however, that the College and Career Center is CLOSED during the summer months. If you plan to submit a college application over the summer, please request your official transcript NOW using the Transcript Request Form*

    AGAIN: THE COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER IS CLOSED DURING THE SUMMER - and therefore, will NOT be sending official transcripts until we return to school in the FALL.

    *in order to send official transcripts, be sure you have signed the FERPA Release in SCOIR. If you need another invitation to SCOIR or have questions or concerns please reach out to your College and Career Counselor before the end of the current school year.


    Countdown to College Presentation

    Class of 2023, the countdown to college has begun! We hope you have had a chance to look through the packet of information handed out in your Language Arts classes in January. Above is our Countdown to College presentation that will continue to guide you through the college planning process. Many of the slides include active links to helpful websites, applications, and resources. Please read through the presentation in its entirety. As always, feel free to email us if you have any questions or concerns.

Keep in mind, not everything is applicable to every student and the lists do not necessarily include every single step. This is a starting point for you, a way to start thinking about what is to come and how to prepare.

Making Appointments With Your College Counselor

    • Students can email or call the College Center Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Akin, at akinjennifer@rsdmo.org or 636-891-6026 to schedule appointments with their College and Career Counselor. Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend the meeting via phone or Zoom. Please indicate intended parent/guardian participation when scheduling your appointment.
    • Students whose last name begins with A-K will meet with Ms. Torgoley and students whose last name begins with L-Z will meet with Ms. Ake.
    • NO SAME-DAY APPOINTMENTS! Because of the volume of the students we meet with, and so we can better manage our workload, we do not take same-day appointments. Plan accordingly!
