Wooooooooooooooo, it's go time! Welcome back Class of 2022.
I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of OUR children. What sets Eureka High School apart from other high schools is the sense of community shared by everyone…from students and their families to the great teachers, the staff, and the administrative team. We all care about you and are committed to helping you achieve and reach your goals during this difficult time of online learning. Remember that now, more than ever, your attitude and the ability to create quality relationships with other students and faculty are two of the most important keys to your success at Eureka High School. As you think about your SENIOR year, I want you to continue to, "OWN THE MOMENT". I want to encourage you to enjoy every aspect of being a student at Eureka High School. I also want to challenge you to get involved, try new things and be a part of the educational community that is Eureka High School. This may look different than it has in the past but it is still vital to your success. You will be amazed at how much you achieve over the next year when you OWN THE MOMENT and autograph everything that you do with excellence.
We will accomplish this by setting high academic expectations for all children and providing supportive systems to assure those expectations are met. By focusing on a positive school culture, setting high standards for teacher performance, increased academic expectations for all students and engaging the community, it is our goal at Eureka High School that all students are on track to be college and career ready as they leave this building.
We are proud to offer a variety of academic and performance options including the state-of-the-art Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) building, and Project Lead the Way, an innovative engineering curriculum. We also boast an award winning Fine Arts department with Band, Choir, and Orchestra. Our wildcat sports teams are consistently successful and passionately represent the school and the community.
We embrace the challenges of the present, while we continue to cherish and celebrate the traditions of the past. Our remarkable staff, involved parents and committed students come together to make Eureka High School a wonderful and unique educational setting, despite the challenges that lie ahead in these unforeseen times.
As we move into virtual instruction please know that academic honesty is paramount. If you have questions we are here to help. We welcome your involvement and participation in our great school and look forward to working with you and your student as we strive toward an academically successful 2020-21 school year.
