Financial Oversight | In regards to management of funds, group agrees to comply with guidelines established in Section 341 of the Student Activity Funds Procedure Manual and Policy 3370. There are informal parent groups that support Rockwood students, activities and programs through fundraising which is submitted directly to a school's activity account. These groups typically raise less than $1,000 per school year and work directly with the school to coordinate all activities. The activity is considered a district activity and must comply with all guidelines established in the Student Activity Funds Procedure Manual and Policy 3370.
All monies raised are deposited in a school activity account and become school funds. The school may work with the group to get input on how money raised is spent. If you need more information about processes to assist these informal parent groups, please contact your school.
