Strategic Plan Steering Committee
Purpose
The Rockwood School District is about half way through a yearlong journey to prepare for a new Strategic Plan: 2025-2030. The district's five-year strategic plan represents our commitment to every child, every family and every employee of the Rockwood School District. Along the way, we’ll ask questions, listen, evaluate and take an even closer look at what we can do better. We’ll address our state’s mandate for a comprehensive school improvement plan – and take it a step further as we develop a visionary roadmap that will include the aspirations, goals and priorities shared by our community.
Facilitators
Committee Members
The Strategic Plan Steering Committee application was open from May 21 through June 17. In an effort to generate creative solutions that include a good cross-section of individuals and perspectives, committee members were both selected from the applications and invited by the superintendent to participate based on role, background and location within the district. The committee includes students, staff, parents and community members who represent all grade levels and all four quadrants of the district.
