Strategic Plan Steering Committee

Purpose

The Rockwood School District is getting ready to complete a yearlong journey to prepare for a new Strategic Plan: 2025-2030. The district's five-year strategic plan represents our commitment to every child, every family and every employee of the Rockwood School District. Along the way, we've asked questions, listened, evaluated and taken an even closer look at what we can do better. We're working to address our state’s mandate for a comprehensive school improvement plan – and take it a step further as we develop a visionary roadmap that will include the aspirations, goals and priorities shared by our community.

Your Involvement

Providing your feedback

The draft Promise and Goal Areas have been reviewed and refined by not only the Strategic Plan Steering Committee, which represents students, staff, parents and community members from all grade levels and areas of the district, but also multiple groups including the Board of Education Student Advisory, Rockwood Learning Council, Presidents’ Forum and Parent RLC.

At this time, we would like for every patron in our community to weigh in. Your voice is critical so that all patrons are represented and can embrace the vision for our students and the future of Rockwood. Please take a moment to review the Goal Areas and Promise and let us know your thoughts. Your feedback will be shared with the committee for final revisions before it is brought to the Board of Education in June.
