    ACTIVITY BUSES:  Starting next week activity buses will be available at 3;45 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You must sign up for the bus when you sign up for your after school activity.

    KINDNESS WEEK:  The LSMS Kindness Crew has been hard at work planning our 2019 Kindness Week! Join staff and students in promoting kindness by dressing this week as listed below.

    • Monday-- Neon Rock Star Day:  Stand Out and Stand Up to Bullying. Kindness melodies will be played over the intercom before school, during passing times and after school to kick off our Kindness Week!
    • Tuesday - Tie-Dye/Camo Day:  Peace, Love and Kindness. Spread Peace Love and Kindness Challenge Day.
    • Wednesday -- PJ Day:  Dream of Kindness. An anti-bullying movie will be shown followed by discussions to dream of kindness at LSMS.
    • Thursday -- Boots & Social Media Day:  Stomp Out Bullying on Social Media (SnapChat = Yellow, TikTok = Black/White, Instagram = Rainbow, Twitter = Blue)
    • Friday -- Red/White/Blue:  Show Kindness to those who have served our country.

    PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY/BUS PASSES:  Wednesday, November 6 is an early dismissal day. School dismisses at 11:32 am. Bus passes will only be issued before school or during lunch. Students must have a signed note from a parent in order to get a bus pass. Very limited passes can be issued for bus numbers 93, 101, 103, 128 and 149.

    FALL MUSICAL:  Everyone must attend for the entire time. You may not leave early without permission from

    Ms. Jones.

    • Monday 11/04 - 2:45-5:15 -- ALL CAST MEMBERS run scenes 6 thru 11 off book first and then start at the top of the show. Meet in small gym. LIGHT CREW ONLY: meet in the big gym to set up lights and practice.
    • Tuesday 11/5 - 2:45-5:15 -- ALL CALL CAST

          CREW stays until 5:45 (no costume crew)

    • Friday 11/8 - 2:45-5:15 -- ALL CALL CAST

      CREW stays until 5:45 (no costume crew)

    VETERAN'S DAY ASSEMBLY:  Our assembly is Friday, 11/8 at 8:30 am. Students are encouraged to wear red, white or blue on the day of assembly. 6th grade wear blue, 7th grade wear red and 8th grade wear red, white or blue.

    COIN CHALLENGE:  Bring in your spare change or dollars for the Adopt-A-Family Coin Challenge. The grade level that collects the most will receive a reward at the end of the collection. We are collecting up until the Thanksgiving Holiday. Proceeds will go to the LSMS Adopt-A-Family program which takes care of families right here in our school! Thank you for your generosity!

    LOST AND FOUND:  Hoodies, coats, hats, gloves, lunchboxes, water bottles and whatever else you may have lost! If you have lost any of these or other items please check the lost and found in the hallway by Mrs. Early. We are sure your parents will appreciate it!

    AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES:  Students must sign up for all after school activities before 2:00 pm on the day of the activity. Students will go online to the LSMS Website under Activities or Wildcat Weekly tab to sign up. They enter the activity, how they are getting home, and if they contacted a parent. Those who do not sign up must either go home on their regular bus or will be escorted to another location until dismissal. All activities end at 3:40 pm unless otherwise indicated.
