    NJHS "SOUP"er Bowl:  Pancake breakfast anyone? Bring in canned food items from January 21-January 31. Take your cans to 2nd hour, 1st encore for 8th grade to be counted. The class that brings in the most cans will get a pancake breakfast courtesy of our chefs Mr. Wilken, Mr. Gabris and Dr. Colgren! Then take your cans to the commons and place them on the side of the football field for the team you hope wins the Super Bowl!

    LOCK IN:  Don't miss all the fun! The 1st LSMS Lock-In is scheduled for January 31 6pm-9pm. Tickets are $25 per child. Glow T-Shirts are $12. Lock-in will be open to current 6th and 7th grade LSMS students and 5th graders who will be attending LSMS next year. Ticket includes a black light dance party, DJ, Games, prizes and lots more fun. Space is limited. Buy tickets now!

    BEST BUDDIES:  Everybody mark your calendars because on Wednesday, January 29, Best Buddies is having a karaoke dance party. We will meet in the choir room with Ms. Waterman. It's definitely not too late to become a member! Just sign up on the after-school Google form to stay with us, and at the event, one of the Best Buddies' leaders will help you get you registered for Best Buddies Missouri. It's going to be a blast!  See you there!

    FLL:  FLL EV3 Robot Coding (open session) on Thursday, January 30 until 3:40 in Room 711 Mrs. Cox.  Be sure to sign up on the activity link.

    JUNIOR RENAISSANCE:  The ceremonies for 6th and 7th grade will take place on February 4. 6th grade begins at 5:30 pm and 7th grade, 7:00 pm. The 8th grade recognition ceremony will be February 6 at 6:00 pm. Families of students earning a 3.5 or above GPA for the first semester should have received an invitation in the mail.

    Students receiving recognition are encouraged to dress business casual, dressy, but not formal. Blue jeans or t-shirts are not allowed. Suggested attire for boys is khakis, dress pants and a collared shirt, girls, a blouse with a skirt, slacks or a dress.

    AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES:  Students must sign up for all after school activities. Students will go online to Google Classroom – PE class to sign up. Click here for the link. They will need to complete the form before 2:00 pm. On this form they will sign up for the activity, how they are getting home, and if they contacted a parent. Those who do not sign up must either go home on the bus or will be escorted to another location until dismissal. All activities end at 3:40 pm unless otherwise indicated.
