August 30, 2019 Permanent Link to Post

ACTIVITY BUSES:  Activity buses will be available at 4:30 on Wednesday only during the month of September. Buses will run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the remainder of the year unless otherwise notified. As of today, the only exception is the month of April.

BUS PASSES:  Students must have a signed note from a parent in order to get a bus pass.

Got shoes?  Our annual shoe drive will be held the week of 9/3-6. Any and all types of shoes, new and gently used, will be accepted. Donations go to the Shoeman Project who distributes the shoes in several ways to those in need both locally and globally. A lot of the shoes will stay right here in St. Louis! All leftover shoes are sold to raise money to dig wells in third-world countries and provide fresh water to those who don't have access to clean water. Thank you again for your donations!

FLL:  FLL Team #215 has practice on Sept. 4 (Wed.) and Sept. 5 (Thurs.) in Mrs. Cox's Room 711 until 4:00. This after-school activity is for team members only. Open robot coding sessions will be held after-school 2nd semester.

SCIENCE CLUB:  Contagious Intelligence Science Club will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 4, room 611 with Mrs. Heinemann.

MINECRAFT CLUB:  Beginning Thursday, 9/5, the Minecraft Club will be available to 8th graders every other Thursday. Students who participate will have to have the Minecraft application loaded to their phone. If 8th grade students are interested, they will need to contact Ms. Giden for approval. Because the club is hosted on Thursdays, students will need their own transportation to get home.

Artistic Expressions:  We will meet Wednesdays after school Mrs. Aderman room 509. Come and be creative! Many different types of activities are available.

Artistic Expressions will meet on these Wednesdays in September:

MUD CLUB: Interested in Art? Join Mud Club! An after school club where students can create using clay, paper mache, and more! This club is open to all grades. Pick up an application outside room 400 (art room) to get more information!
