Response to Library Legislation
Rockwood closely follows any changes in state and federal legislation to ensure compliance with all applicable statutes. Missouri Senate Bill 775 (SB 775) establishes guidelines related to providing "explicit sexual materials" to a student.
Rockwood reviewed our collections in light of this legislation. Books that reflect what is outlined in SB 775 have been removed from district libraries. Below are the titles that were removed.
