Welcome to the MHS College Center! Below you will find great tools on the internet aimed at helping you plan for college.
One the left-hand side of the page is information targeted specifically at MHS students. Keep informed by frequently checking "College Visits to MHS," and "College Center Programs." Learn about great things students can tap into during the school year with "College-related Programs." Plan your summer break with "Pre-College Summers." Keep up to date on new financial aid opportunities with "Scholarship Notices." These MHS specific files are updated as often as we receive new information to share with you!
We are here to facilitate your college planning and transition. Let us know how we can be of assistance.

Making appointments with your College Counselor
- WHERE WE ARE LOCATED We are a part of the guidance office, which is located on the second floor of the academic building, room 260. Enter the guidance office and check-in with one of the guidance secretaries.
- MAKING AN APPOINTMENT Students can stop by the College Center anytime during, before or after the school day to make an appointment with their College Specialist. Students can also email their College Specialist directly to set up a meeting. Students whose last name begins with A-K will meet with Mrs. Spyers, and students whose last name begins with L-Z will meet with Mr. Goninan. Students will be given a pass to show their teacher on the day of the appointment.
- NO SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS Because of the volume of the students we meet with and so we can better manage our workload, we do not take same-day appointments. Plan accordingly!
