Communication continues to develop and progress in Rockwood School District.
In May, report cards were successfully sent via a secure email link. Rockwood administrators plan to use this method in the future to send report cards, STAR reports, state assessment results and other announcements.
In order to receive such information, it is essential for parents to have their current email address on file with their child's school. You can check what Rockwood has on file for you on Infinite Campus. Contact the registrar at your child's school to update that information.
In order to utilize this method of receiving student information, you will need to know your child's 10-digit Rockwood student identification number.
In the future, parents will still be able to access their children's report cards through Infinite Campus, but we are also making this method available.
Parents, be advised - if you choose to unsubscribe from district or school enewsletters, you will also be unsubscribing from this report card/test score information function.
Also, up until now, Rockwood parents had to choose to opt-in to receiving text messages from the school district. The federal government now allows school districts to have the default position for receiving such messaging be "opt-in." If you have not already opted-in or opted-out, Rockwood's communications vendor, School Messenger, will soon be sending a text message notifying parents that they are now opted-in to Rockwood text messaging. You will then receive text messages from the district, unless you opt-out of such messaging.
