Filing for Rockwood Board of Education Candidates Runs Dec. 15-Jan. 19

Rockwood residents may file as candidates for the Board of Education from Dec. 15 through Jan. 19.
​Rockwood residents may file as candidates for the Rockwood School District Board of Education from Dec. 15 at 8 a.m. until Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. Election Day is April 6, 2021.

Rockwood residents may file their candidacy at the school district's Administrative Center, located at 111 E. North St. in Eureka. Candidates may file Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except for Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1, when offices are closed for the holiday, on any day the offices are closed due to inclement weather and in the event of closure due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

When filing, the applicant will complete a written declaration of candidacy. Interested candidates may also pick up an information packet from Rockwood's Administrative Offices. St. Louis County COVID-19 health and safety guidelines will be followed during the filing process.

Candidates must be citizens of the United States, residents of the Rockwood School District, residents of Missouri for at least one year preceding the election and at least 24 years of age.
