Rockwood Bus Route Information Available on e-Link

School buses are parked in a row at the Rockwood Transportation lot, ready to carry students this school year.
This school year, the Rockwood Transportation Department will carry about 12,000-13,000 students to and from school over 1,000 routes covering the 150 square miles of the Rockwood School District.

Director Transportation Mike Heyman, his staff and the district's 182 bus drivers are up to the challenge.

"There's nothing more important than getting the kids transported to school safely and effectively, on time, every day," Heyman said.

With the start of school less than a week away, parents still have time to familiarize themselves with their students' bus stop information for the 2019-2020 school year by logging on to e-Link. Parents must know their child's student number, which can be found in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal

Use the student number as both the user ID and password to sign into e-Link. Then click "Work with Students," then "View my Students," then click on the student's name to access the student's specific bus information.

"Have your kids out on time for the first day of school and be patient," Heyman said. "The first day of school, the first couple of weeks, everyone has to get into the routine of coming back to school."

If you have questions about your child's bus route stop, you can contact the Rockwood Bus Call Center at (636) 733-8500.

Voluntary Student Transfer Program students will receive a postcard in the mail with bus stop information. Parents will find out their bus stop information from Voluntary Interdistrict Choice Corporation (VICC) Transportation and may call the VICC Transportation office at (314) 721-8657 for more information.
