All four high schools in Rockwood School District are ranked among the top 11 in Missouri and the top 6 percent of all public high schools in the country
, according to U.S. News & World Report's "2020 Best High Schools" list.
The publication ranks high schools on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
"We remain so proud of the extraordinary academic accomplishments of our students," said Superintendent Dr. Mark Miles. "Our team of educators is dedicated to providing meaningful educational opportunities, and we will continue to strive to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of each of our students."
All four high schools also ranked in the top nine in the state and the top 9 percent nationally in U.S. News & World Report's College Readiness Index, which is based on Advanced Placement participation rates and scores.
