In Rockwood, we are working to help keep our students and our staff as safe as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic. This week, we’ve expanded our Rockwood Health Indicators
to include cases and quarantines for students and staff in each school. This dashboard will now be updated three times per week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday - to ensure our school community has the latest updates and information.
Every day, Rockwood school nurses document positive cases and quarantine cases in the district. This data is analyzed by Rockwood Research, Assessment and Evaluation. The numbers are sent to Rockwood Communications and will be published on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please note: We try to avoid making updates to the data after it had been published. However, if we receive new information from data reported to our school nurses, we will update the charts.
The Rockwood Safe Together plan includes health and wellness
protocols and guidelines that align with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control. The school district will continue our regular collaboration with medical and healthcare professionals to do our best for Rockwood students, staff and our school community.
In Rockwood, our students and staff wear a face mask, manage social distance and wash/sanitize hands frequently. Our Rockwood Safe Together
practices are the foundation that keep our students and staff at school as safe as possible during this pandemic.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our Rockwood school community safe.
