Board of Education Approves Hire of Adam Ball as Interim Eureka High Assistant Principal
The Rockwood Board of Education has approved the hiring of Adam Ball as an interim assistant principal at Eureka High, effective July 1. He replaces Dr. David Arledge, who resigned earlier this month.
Ball has been a STEM teacher at Rockwood South Middle for the past three years. Prior to that, he taught STEM, math and business in grades 6-12 in the Bayless School District for nine years. He was the recipient of the Rising Star Award in Bayless in 2016 and the Rockwood South Middle Discover, Connect, Make a Difference Award in 2022-2023. Ball has helped develop districtwide curriculum for Project Lead the Way classes, was a member of the Rockwood Ignite program for aspiring administrators and is currently serving as a Summer Academy assistant principal.
Ball earned his Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education and Master of Arts in School Administration from Southeast Missouri State University.
"I am incredibly excited to join the Eureka Wildcat community as the interim assistant principal at EHS,” said Ball. “It is a great privilege and honor that I am able to be a part of such an amazing school. I look forward to getting started at EHS soon and I can't wait to help our students, staff and community continue to achieve amazing things."
Ball lives with his wife, Samantha, and their four children in Fenton.
