Board of Education Approves Hire of Kristen Forth as Stanton Administrative Intern

The Rockwood Board of Education has approved the hiring of Kristen Forth as the next administrative intern at Stanton Elementary, beginning July 1. She replaces Dr. Erin Knight, who has taken a position outside of the district.

Currently, Forth is an English language arts instructional coach in Rockwood, a position she has held since 2015. Prior to that, she taught first grade at Kehrs Mill Elementary for nine years. She also taught at Green Pines Elementary for a year and at Walter Moses Burton Elementary in Sugarland, Texas, for three years. Forth was named Teacher of the Year at Kehrs Mill in 2015 and a ROSE Award recipient in 2022.

Forth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Baptist University.

“I am beyond excited to be joining the Stanton family,” said Forth. “With 23 years of experience in education as a teacher and an instructional coach, I am committed to fostering a collaborative and positive environment where both students and staff feel valued and motivated to reach their full potential. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve this incredible school community and look forward to working alongside all stakeholders as we grow and succeed together!”

Forth lives with her husband, Mike, and their four children in Eureka.
