Free ACT Opportunity Available for All Rockwood Juniors on April 9
To assist students as they prepare for college and careers, Rockwood School District is offering all high school juniors the opportunity to take the ACT (American College Test) college entrance exam during the school day at no cost to families.
The ACT is the nation’s most widely accepted college entrance exam. This test will help guide our graduates toward college and career readiness. The results of this test will help the district determine ways to improve our curriculum and learning for all students.
When is the date?
All Rockwood high schools will test on Tuesday, April 9.
Do students need to register?
All Rockwood juniors will be automatically registered to take the test on April 9. Students will complete the ACT pretest sections at school before the testing date.
Where will juniors take the ACT?
The testing will take place at our four high schools -- Eureka, Lafayette, Marquette and Rockwood Summit. Students attending the Early College Partnership (ECP) will test at their home school. Students attending the Pathways Wellness Center will test at Pathways.
