Monday, Aug. 24, marks the first day of the 2026-2027 school year in the Rockwood School District! We are excited to welcome our students and families back for another fantastic year of learning and fun!

The 2026-2027 school year got off to a great start in the Rockwood School District on Monday, Aug. 24, with school communities all over the district celebrating the first day of school! Students, staff, families and community members showed their excitement for another great year in Rockwood!

It's been a great day in Rockwood, as communities all across the district's 150 square miles celebrate the start of the 2026-2027 school year!

All four high schools in Rockwood School District are ranked among the top 38 in Missouri and the top 17 percent of all public high schools in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report's "2026-2027 Best U.S. High Schools" list.
