More than 30 Rockwood Spring Sports Student-Athletes Earn Post-Dispatch All-Metro Status

More than 30 Rockwood Spring Sports Student-Athletes Earn Post-Dispatch All-Metro Status
A total of 31 Rockwood School District spring sports student-athletes representing all four high schools earned All-Metro recognition from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
These athletes -- 14 boys and 17 girls -- made the Post-Dispatch All-Metro teams in baseball, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track and field, volleyball and water polo. A total of 12 athletes earned first-team honors, seven earned second-team recognition, and 12 were named to the third team.

During their last day of classes, Rockwood School District seniors headed back to their former elementary and middle schools to take one more trip around campus and interact with some of the educators who helped get them where they are today during Senior Walks.

More than 300 guests attended the 37th Annual ROSE Award Ceremony, which was held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Chesterfield on Sunday, May 3.

At this year's ROSE Award Ceremony, Rockwood Summit High science teacher Sarah Moonier was named Rockwood School District’s 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year.

Crestview Middle, Eureka and Lafayette high schools and Ridge Meadows Elementary have each been certified as a 2026 National School of Character by Character.org.
