Nearly 60 Rockwood Middle School Students Earn Spots in All-District Choirs

Nearly 60 Rockwood Middle School Students Earn Spots in All-District Choirs
A total of 58 Rockwood School District students earned places in the St. Louis Suburban MMEA (Missouri Music Educators Association) District 5 7th- and 8th-Grade Mixed and Treble honor choirs.
A total of 43 Rockwood students were selected for the Treble choir, and 15 earned spots in the Mixed choir. Our students will join with other students selected by their choir teachers from across the St. Louis region to rehearse with a clinician and perform a concert at Ritenour High on Jan. 25.

The Rockwood School District is asking 2024 graduates of our four high schools to give us an update on their college and/or career progress since graduation last spring.

Rockwood is now accepting nominations for the ROSE Award through Friday, Jan. 24.

Three Rockwood citizens have filed their candidacy for two positions on the Rockwood Board of Education. The positions are for three-year terms, and Election Day is Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
