New Group of Rockwood Educators Joins Ignite Leadership Program

More than 20 Rockwood educators were recently notified that they have been accepted into the one-year Ignite Rockwood Leadership program. The program is designed for educators who aspire to become a building or district administrator.

On May 1, Dr. Keri Skeeters and Abby Smith from Rockwood Professional Learning, along with district leaders Dr. Gary Jansen and Dr. Paul Godwin, set out to schools across the district to inform the applicants.

“The applicant pool was incredibly strong, with many highly-qualified staff members applying for a limited number of openings," said Smith. "We are excited to collaborate with this talented cohort and support their continued leadership development."
