Rockwood residents may file as candidates for the Rockwood School District Board of Education from Dec. 10 at 8 a.m. until Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. Election Day is April 8, 2025.

The Rockwood School District is one of 125 local education agencies (LEAs) from around the state to receive this year’s state-funded “Grow Your Own” grants from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

A number of Rockwood elementary and middle schools earned recognition in U.S. News & World Report's latest edition of Best K-8 Schools rankings, which were released Nov. 14.

Westridge Elementary fifth-grade teacher Molly Clince, Eureka High Spanish teacher Jenni Highfill and Westridge special education teacher Sarah Studie have all been named 2024 Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award recipients.
