Rockwood Kindergarten Registration for '25-'26 Now Open
Do you have a child ready to start kindergarten next school year? Rockwood schools are offering online kindergarten registration to help our families prepare for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
Rockwood online kindergarten registration is now open, and administrators are asking parents to register as soon as possible to get an accurate idea of how many students we will welcome this year​. Learn how to enroll your kindergarten student online.
If you need to enroll your student in person, please contact your school to set up an appointment. A list of elementary school registrars and their contact information can be found here.

Children must be 5 years old before Aug. 1, 2025, to be eligible to begin kindergarten in the fall.
Our 34 school buildings and supporting programs make up one of the highest performing districts in the country. Rockwood teachers average 15 years in the classroom, and 87 percent have earned a master’s degree or higher.

Phones are ringing across the Rockwood School District as a brief survey has begun to solicit patron feedback. School district officials say the survey of district households will provide insight into what residents think about the district and potential financing for staff salaries and benefits as well as additional safety personnel.

Earlier this spring, the Rockwood Board of Education unanimously approved extending Superintendent Dr. Curtis Cain's contract through the 2027-2028 school year.

The Rockwood School District Board of Education held its reorganization meeting Thursday, April 10. New Director Sarah Boyer and returning member Dr. Mara Vorachek-Warren were sworn in for three-year terms that will end in the spring of 2028.

The Rockwood School District Strategic Plan Steering Committee held its sixth meeting at the Administrative Annex on April 8, as part of the yearlong process to help prepare for a new district strategic plan for 2025-2030.
