Rockwood Capital Planning Advisory Committee Holds First Meeting
The Rockwood School District Capital Planning Advisory Committee held its first meeting Nov. 19 at Eureka High.
Led by district Chief Financial Officer Cyndee Byous, the committee is made up of 25 members representing every patron group, including teachers, building administrators, district administrators, Board of Education members and members of the community. The Capital Planning Advisory Committee will meet quarterly to provide feedback and input on various aspects of the district's financial planning and communication with patrons. This includes offering feedback on the strategies used to communicate ongoing Proposition 3 budgeting and spending, as well as the capital planning process in general. The committee will also contribute insights on facility planning and demographic trends as part of the 2025 strategic planning process.
The committee's contributions play an important role in ensuring transparent and responsible fiscal management within our district. For more information, please visit the committee page on the Rockwood website.
