Rockwood Celebrates 2026 ROSE Award Nominees
The ROSE Award honors the best of Rockwood. During the nomination period, which ran from Jan. 2-23, nearly 240 nominations were submitted with stories highlighting excellence of character, leadership, performance and extraordinary service to Rockwood. Teachers, principals, nurses, secretaries, custodians, parent volunteers and community members cover just some of the people who were nominated.
The ROSE Selection Committee is now in the process of reviewing each nomination.
Later this month, the ROSE committee chairs will set out with balloons and roses to surprise 15 individuals with one of the district's greatest honors.
ROSE recipients will be recognized at a special ceremony and dinner on Sunday, May 3, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Chesterfield -- along with Cornerstone recipients, Teachers of the Year, Service Award honorees and retirees.

All four Rockwood School District high schools -- Eureka, Lafayette, Marquette and Rockwood Summit -- have chosen their Glory of Missouri Award recipients for 2026.

A total of 21 Rockwood School District students have been named finalists for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Building on a longstanding tradition of educational excellence in St. Louis County, the boards of education for the Parkway and Rockwood school districts held a historic joint work session on March 4 at the Junior Achievement offices in Chesterfield.
