Rockwood Celebrates our 2025-2026 Teachers of the Year
An important part of any student's education is a teacher who sets high expectations for learning, and the Rockwood School District is proud of our highly effective teachers and staff members.
Throughout February, each Rockwood school announced its own Teacher of the Year. That teacher then completes the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) application for the district-level program.

A total of 20 Rockwood School District students have been named finalists for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

The Rockwood School District Strategic Plan Steering Committee held its fifth meeting at the Administrative Annex on Feb. 25, as part of the yearlong process to help prepare for a new district strategic plan for 2025-2030.
Throughout February, each Rockwood school announced its own Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to the 31 Rockwood Teachers of the Year for 2025-2026!
