May 23 marked the last day of the 2024-2025 school year in the Rockwood School District. All around the district, students and staff members ended another great school year with hugs, high-fives, waves and well-wishes.

Recent Rockwood School District graduates Maleah Eggers, Caleb Mitchell, James Tse and Nolan Zink of Marquette High and Mary Jenna Hails and Charlie Heppe of Lafayette High are among the first round of this year’s College-Sponsored National Merit Scholarship winners.
Eureka Elementary and Ridge Meadows Elementary have been recognized for enacting “Promising Practices” by Character.org, a national organization that advocates for character education in schools and communities.
Babler, Chesterfield and Eureka elementary schools and Selvidge Middle have each been certified as a 2025 National School of Character by Character.org.
