Rockwood Holds 'Highly Qualified Staff' Strategic Plan Community Engagement Meeting
More than 150 members of the Rockwood community took part in our third five-year strategic plan community engagement meeting Jan. 14 at Lafayette High.
The meeting, on the theme of "Highly Qualified Staff," included information and discussion about topics such as benefits, recruitment efforts and financial components that impact negotiating salaries for staff. Participants then shared their thoughts on what they learned and what they felt having a highly qualified staff means in Rockwood.
Thank you to all who attended, and we hope to see you at our final community engagement meeting: the “Safe and Caring Schools” meeting at 6 p.m., Feb. 11 at Marquette High.
For more information about the five-year strategic plan process, please visit our Strategic Plan Steering Committee page. There, you can find slide presentations and video recordings from all three community engagement meetings, as well as slide presentations and meeting summaries from Strategic Plan Steering Committee meetings.
If you were unable to attend the "Highly Qualified Staff" meeting and would like to share your input with the committee, please watch a replay of the meeting on the Strategic Plan Steering Committee page and participate in our ThoughtExchange at this link.
The ThoughtExchange link will be open to receive feedback through Sunday, Jan. 26.
