Rockwood Middle Schools Honor Glory of Missouri Award Recipients
Glory of Missouri Award recipients from Crestview, LaSalle Springs, Rockwood South, Rockwood Valley and Wildwood middle schools were recognized by the Missouri House of Representatives at the State Capitol in Jefferson City on April 21. Selvidge Middle's recipients were honored at a school awards ceremony May 21.
The award recognizes 14 students from each school who represent the virtues that make up the "Glory of Missouri," which are engraved in the House Chamber. The virtues are Knowledge, Liberty, Equality, Law, Justice, Fraternity, Education, Progress, Honor, Truth, Virtue, Temperance, Enterprise and Charity.

Eureka Elementary and Ridge Meadows Elementary have been recognized for enacting “Promising Practices” by Character.org, a national organization that advocates for character education in schools and communities.
Babler, Chesterfield and Eureka elementary schools and Selvidge Middle have each been certified as a 2025 National School of Character by Character.org.
May 23 marked the last day of the 2024-2025 school year in the Rockwood School District. All around the district, students and staff members ended another great school year with hugs, high-fives, waves and well-wishes.
