Rockwood South, Rockwood Summit Honored with SupportMusic Merit Awards

Rockwood South Middle and Rockwood Summit High have both earned the SupportMusic Merit Award (SMMA) for their commitment to music education.

The two Rockwood School District schools are among 122 from around the nation -- and only three from Missouri -- to earn the SMMA this year. The SMMA is an annual recognition given as part of the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation's Best Communities for Music Education program.

Over the past 25 years, the NAMM Foundation has honored more than 1,000 schools and districts in 43 states for their unwavering commitment to music education as an integral part of a well-rounded education for all students.

Congratulations to all our our student musicians and music staff members at Rockwood South and Rockwood Summit for earning this honor!
